Are you passionate about teaching Greek and making language learning a fun and engaging experience for students? We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Greek language instructors to teach middle and high school students in an online setting.

About the Role:
We offer online Greek courses for students aged 12 to 18 who are learning the language to fulfill their high school World Language requirement. Our curriculum covers Middle School and High School Levels 1-6+, including conversational and test preparation courses.

Rather than using textbooks, our curriculum follows ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) guidelines, focusing on real-world communication and Project-Based Learning. Our instructors have access to a comprehensive Resource Library, but they are encouraged to develop and use their own creative teaching materials. We do not assess students through traditional quizzes, tests, or exams, emphasizing engagement and practical application instead.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging one-on-one online lessons via Microsoft Teams.

Assign, review, and provide feedback on student homework and projects.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate grade records.

Foster an interactive and dynamic learning environment focused on student success.

Demonstrate respect and inclusivity for all students, supporting their language learning journey.

Requirements:

1-2+ years of experience teaching Greek (online or in a school setting).

Native-like proficiency in Greek.

A Bachelor's degree.

Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Availability in a U.S. time zone (PST) with preference for evening hours.

Additional Information:

This is a contract position.

Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. or qualify for an international contract if residing outside the U.S.
