Position Summary
This highly professional position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and presenting training for Agency employees in the areas of Human Resources, management and supervision, new employee orientation, policy and procedure compliance, and other areas of learning and development.
The Work You Will Do
Plans, organizes, delegates work assignments, evaluates workflows, and sets work objectives to ensure efficiency.
Serves as the Agency’s Learning Management System (LMS) administrator, providing technical support to trainers and employees.
Develops, implements, and maintains online compliance training courses.
Manages monthly training reports to monitor and ensure staff compliance with Agency training requirements.
Prepares performance management reports and other training-related reports as requested.
Conducts training needs assessments and reports findings to management; designs and coordinates training programs based on identified needs.
Designs or assists in the development of a variety of training materials (multimedia content and facilitator guides) for online courses, instructor-led sessions, and webinars.
Delivers new employee orientation sessions on a regular schedule.
Develops and delivers Human Resources-related training on a regular basis or as requested by the supervisor.
Coordinates and facilitates training sessions conducted by third-party vendors and guest presenters as needed.
Creates and deploys evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of classroom and online training initiatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Direct Deposit Program
As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.
Background Screening Requirement
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
