Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers and processors.
• Design and implement firmware using C/C++ and assembly language.
• Work with hardware engineers to integrate and debug software with hardware components.
• Optimize system performance, power consumption, and memory usage.
• Develop and maintain software documentation and version control.
• Implement communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Conduct debugging and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.
• Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and security requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or ThreadX.
• Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR, MSP430).
• Experience with debugging tools, emulators, and hardware interfaces.
• Experience in version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of embedded security best practices.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
