Where You'll Work

Part of our snacks division, the main focus is on powdered cheese production through dry blending and spray dry technology. Our finished goods are produced in bulk and sold to our customers to be used in various applications including chips, popcorn, mac n’ cheese, alfredo sauces and many more. Spray Drying, Dry Blending, & Dairy.
Main products: Spray Dry Cheese Powders, Dry Blend Powders, Semi-soft Cheese

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $110,000.00  to $$120,000.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Position: HSE Manager Location: Albany, MN

About Us: Kerry is a global leader with over 50 sites across North America. Our Albany facility is home to around 75 dedicated employees, and we're looking for an HSE Manager to join our Site Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Implementation: Support business strategy to ensure all HSE directives, policies, and initiatives are effectively incorporated at the site level.
  • Objective Setting: Develop, implement, and execute HSE annual objectives and improvement plans in conjunction with site operations management.
  • Compliance Management: Manage all environmental permits and program requirements specific to the site, and lead the site's ISO-14001 program.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections of the site to ensure compliance with corporate policies and HSE regulations.
  • Training and Development: Identify site HSE training needs, develop appropriate resources, and execute training sessions for employees and management staff.
  • Incident Investigation: Support site supervisors and managers with the investigation of HSE incidents, and communicate corrective actions effectively.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to minimize hazards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor site HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communicate trends to the Site Leadership Team.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

  • Education: BS/MS in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering (with a specialization in HSE or related discipline) AND at least 5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred). Non-degreed candidates with 9+ years of similar experience will be considered.
  • Certification: Professional certification (ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.) preferred.
